This seemed to be a firm favourite when I posted it on social media recently, so I wanted to dedicate a post to it.
Really, all you need is a bag of air drying clay, we bought this Terracotta Air Drying Clay, and occasionally some water to keep the clay wet.
This really is an all-seasons activity…
Grab your bag of clay, grab your imagination, and get outside!
This particular day, we took our clay to the forest! We collected pine cones, heather, leaves, twigs and moss, and made boggarts to ‘protect’ the trees!
The beauty of this, is that it’s such a laid back, open ended activity.
The kids can get as creative with it as they like, and it gives them so much excitement to collect nature’s treasures to decorate their clay creations.
If you try it, let me know what you make!
